The Capra cableway in Poiana Brasov was inaugurated in 1982. At an altitude of 1760 m, the natural conditions are not gentle, nor are the skiers' flaps. Our ultimate goal was to ensure that the repair works along the entire route, as well as the choice of materials for them, meet the highest standards of quality and resistance to both the challenges of the capricious and brutal weather and the mechanical action of the flaps.
The gondola serves the Kanzel, Sulinar, Drumul Rosu, Subterelferic, Ruia and Lupului parts. Because the waiting time is quite long in this type of installation, we wanted to make the ride and the waiting time more pleasant for the skiers. We decorated the walls with pleasant materials and lighting but also images full of history of Poiana Brasov, and we have set up areas where you can sit.
