Through this makeover, the hotel formerly known as „Pantex”, has been given a new look, much more suited for its program. The refurbishment of the building underwent made it possible that also the interior spaces to look and feel new and elegant, and provide better functionality (through some adjustments o the existing plans),one that a 3-star hotel deserves.
Although the initial concept called for more ample changes in the facades,the impact of the more simplified and cost-effective solution that has been implemented is one of great value.
The reception area is essential within a hotel, as it is where people are welcomed and form their first impression. In the case of the Belfort hotel's reception space,the basic idea originated from the desire to utilize the existing glass-encased carpentry structure to create an open and luminous environment.
However, over time, this structure became outdated and suffered from various deteriorations. The challenge was to find a solution that would preserve the initial transparency and brightness while simultaneously masking the degraded appearance.
Thus, the concept for the new reception area began with the introduction of a decorative metal structure, intended to diminish the impact of the previously described carpentry.
This new structure not only conceals the imperfections of the old framework but also imparts a fresh identity to the reception space. Through its design and relief, it creates a subtle interplay of light and shadows, resulting in an appealing visual effect.
The reception area features different levels and platforms, indicating various welcoming and accommodating spaces. The first space, situated at the lowest level, is the reception desk itself—a bustling,lively area in constant motion.
At a higher level, the middle one, there is the reception bar, functioning as an observation space. The topmost space, with the lowest height level, is a cozy relaxation area with a library, providing an intimate atmosphere.
Through these steps, there is a gradual transition from a crowded, animated space to a more intimate setting. The reception area offers a range of experiences, depending on the level where the guest finds themselves.
The hotel room exudes a timeless elegance with its classical design, specifically tailored to meet the needs of business travelers. Bathed in a sophisticated ambiance, the room showcases a refined color palette dominated by dark, rich tones.
The hotel room is an exceptional space with an unconventional design that bursts with vibrant colors, resembling a captivating splash of hues. Comprising two distinct rooms, this unique accommodation offers a delightful and immersive experience for its guests.
