The challenge of this project was to successfully adapt to the Austrian legislation and building regulations. This project entailed modernization, reconfiguration, and attic conversion works on an existing collective housing building located in Vienna, Austria.
The building, with a height regime of Ground floor + Basement + 3 Floors + Attic, is situated at 220 Hutteldorferstrasse Boulevard. Functionally, the goal was to maximize the number of apartments, interior areas, balconies, and terraces. Aesthetic objectives included creating a fresh, dignified, and clean architectural style. The facades were redecorated to blend with the neighboring buildings' style.
The attic levels were treated in a contemporary manner, contrasting with the lower levels, using new materials, large sliding windows, corrugated zinc sheeting, metal structure, etc. It was proposed to add an elevator to the rear facade, balconies to the facades, create terraces at the attic level, and increase the built-up area.

We focused on expanding the number of apartments and interior spaces, including the addition of balconies and terraces, and aimed to create a fresh architecture that blended seamlessly with the style of the neighbouring buildings.
In addition, the project required adaptation to foreign legislation and regulations, including Austrian ones, in an effective collaboration with our colleagues in Vienna, Olbrich Pyka Wickl Gmbh.
The successful management of the concept, DTAC and PT phases underlined our commitment to optimising space and creating a contemporary and clean design.
The project illustrated our commitment to innovation and technical competence while complying with Austrian industry regulations.
