The presented residential housing development is located in Brasov, Romania, featuring a commercial ground floor, four residential up - ground levels, and an underground level for parking and technical spaces.
In spite of being placed in the city’s suburbs, the location offers a stunning panoramic view of the mountains. The design emphasizes energy efficiency and a low impact on the natural environment, making it an eco green building. Sustainability is a key focus in the development process, with the implementation of the best ideas and processes aimed at ensuring long-term accessibility and a minimal impact on the natural environment.

The architecture of the building is characterized by a unique feature, which is the six-sloped shaped roof. This distinct feature not only adds to the aesthetic appeal of the structure but also serves a functional purpose, by allowing a better integration with the surrounding context.
Despite being a five - levels building, the six-sloped roof helps to create an illusion of a smaller and more harmonious one, that seamlessly blends in with the neighborhood small structures.
Overall, the building's design shows a thoughtful consideration for the local context, resulting in a visually pleasing and well-integrated architectural piece.

The architectural design of this project presented a unique challenge, requiring the implementation of a buffer space,to serve as a covered transfer area. The solution was found in the implementation of a colonnade element, which not only met the practical needs but also added a striking and visually engaging element to the overall design.
The use of clear volumetric lines, with a preference for filled volumes over empty spaces, helped to achieve a robust and substantial appearance. Careful consideration was also given to the proportion of the volume, resulting in a well balanced and proportionate structure.
To further emphasize the dynamic nature of the colonnade, a zig_zag line was employed, creating a sense of movement and fluidity.
